A cordless mushroom lamp gives a table light without a lead running to a socket while it is in use. Before choosing one, check the width, the material and how often you will need to recharge it.
Parker is a compact wood-and-metal design: 16.5 cm high and 10 cm wide, with warm light, touch dimming and USB charging.
Parker · Walnut
A small lamp for a bedside or shelf.
Parker’s rounded cap gives it the mushroom shape. Its 10 cm width leaves room to compare it with the books, phone or glass already on your table. Measure the usable surface, including any raised edge, before deciding where it will sit.

How often does it need charging?
Parker’s published runtime is approximately 4–8 hours, depending on brightness. A USB charge takes approximately 1–2 hours. The lamp and USB cable are included.
| Use each evening | Approximate evenings per charge | What to plan |
|---|---|---|
| 1 hour | 4–8 evenings | A short period of bedside or shelf lighting. |
| 2 hours | 2–4 evenings | Leave a convenient USB charging point nearby. |
| 4 hours | 1–2 evenings | Plan to recharge frequently. |
These are calculations from the published runtime range, not a separate battery test. Brightness and actual use affect the interval. Swipe the table to see every column on a phone.
Choose by size, then material.
“Mushroom” describes the shape, not the dimensions or construction. Compare the full width of the cap and overall height. A lamp that looks large in a close-up photograph can be compact in the room.
Parker combines wood and metal. Its Walnut option has a dark cap and a lighter body. Compare those colours with the table or shelving where you intend to use it.
Plan how you will use the light.
Warm light and touch dimming let you adjust Parker for an evening beside the bed or on a side table. Keep the control easy to reach and place the lamp on a stable, dry indoor surface.
If your priority is close reading or desk work, check light output as well as the shape. The dimensions and battery runtime alone do not tell you whether a lamp will provide enough task light.
Before you choose.
Can Parker run without being plugged in?
Yes. Charge it by USB, then use it without the charging lead. Its published runtime is approximately 4–8 hours depending on brightness.
Will it last all night?
The stated 4–8 hour range does not guarantee a full night at every brightness. For longer use, compare the runtime with the number of hours you need.
Can I use it outdoors?
Parker is listed for indoor dry use. Keep it indoors and choose an outdoor-rated lamp for an exposed table or garden.
